Frequently Asked Questions
We know you have a lot of questions.
What is your specialty?
We specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, and disrupted relationships with food & body. We work with individuals struggling with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, night eating syndrome, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), diabulimia, orthorexia, and compulsive exercise.
Do you accept clients for other diagnoses (I.e. those who do not have eating disorders)?
YES! I work with clients who experience a variety of diagnoses, including Type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and food allergies, among others. A formal diagnosis, eating disorder or otherwise, is not required to access nutrition care. Anyone who is seeking to explore their relationship with food is welcome.

Do you accept clients outside of Washington?
Absolutely! I work with clients residing in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Oregon, and Washington.

Do you see clients virtually?
You bet! All services are available virtually.

Do you accept health insurance?
No. At this time, we do not bill through health insurance. Instead, we are able to offer a SuperBill to make it easy for you to receive reimbursement directly from your insurance company. The Superbill is a resource that handles insurance claims for you. Learn more here. Please note that it is your responsibility to submit claims through The Superbill and Nested Nutrition cannot guarantee reimbursement.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend a schedule appointment, either virtually or in-person, please contact us 24-hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. No shows and late cancellations will be charged in full for the price of the session. Late arrivals are subject to a shortened session time due to calendar constraints.
